Symmetry Solutions

Symmetry Solutions provide software and managed services to the telecommunications industry.

Lateral Alliances were approached to assist Symmetry Solutions take the next strategic step in their corporate evolution.
Lateral Alliances undertook a review of Symmetry Solution's business and objectives and put forward a strategic of plan on how they could grow and expand the business without significant financial outlay.

The first phase was to review the corporate profile and brand.  It was recognised a refreshed logo was required and significant work would be required on a new website and social media presence.

An underlying corporate theme of 'business DNA' instigated the design of the new logo and the colours reflect the graphical user interface of their proprietary solution.

A new website was launched to reflect the new logo, corporate messaging and solution offerings
An initiative was also agreed to raise the profile of the business through attending identified external industry events that fitted the profile of the business to ensure Symmetry Solutions were prominent amongst their competitors as well as an opportunity to meet potential customers.

Based on the size of the business, there was an immediate need to raise the profile of the directors as leaders in their field and enlighten the telecoms risk and revenue assurance industry to Symmetry Solutions

The penultimate phase is to increase customer base through focused business development, culminating in identifying strategic technical and services partners.

Ongoing activities are ongoing with Symmetry Solutions.


Xintec

Xintec provide revenue assurance and fraud management software to the telecommunications industry.

Lateral Alliances were approached to assist Xintec to review their sales/commercial strategy.
Lateral Alliances undertook a workshop at Xintec's business premises in Ireland with senior management to understand their aspirations, their business, challenges, experiences, customers, software solutions, budget, capabilities to suggest ways of improving customer satisfaction, increased and repeat revenues.

A number of activities were suggested from the workshop including suggested recruitment to allow Xintec to support sales and account management  initiatives.  Lateral Alliances identified the gap in skills and experience and identified candidates to fill this role. These suggestion were taken on board with a new technical consultant recommended by Lateral Alliances joining Xintec in early 2019.

Other suggestions included increased social media presence and consistent messaging and awareness, Lateral Alliances are working closely with Xintec on social media - specifically around LinkedIn.  During an 11 month period lateral increased followers organically from 359 to 447 which equates to a 24% increase.

Next Caller

Next Caller is one of the leading Phone Fraud Management vendors supplying call centres with leading edge Validation and Authentication technologies to many of the US top fortune 100 Banks and Telecoms companies.
Founded in 2012, Next Caller is the market’s smartest enterprise-grade ANI validation and fraud detection technology for contact centers. Next Caller's primary service, VeriCall®, allows businesses to instantly and passively “green light” real customers while flagging suspicious activity (like call spoofing) to stop phone fraud before it starts. Next Caller's has protected over 1 billion calls to the nation’s largest financial institutions and telecommunications provider. 

Next Caller approached Lateral Alliances to increase their Social Media marketing activities and increase awareness of Next Caller in the relevant industry groups on LinkedIn as well as utilising the Twitter medium.  Lateral Alliances have undertaken a comprehensive maketing and PR programme including graphical advertisements, re-sharing of relevant industry articles and liaising with Next Caller web site news releases.



Revector

Revector is a provider of IMSI Fraud Management detection solutions including technology for detecting bypass and simboxing fraud. 
Founded in 2001, Revector reached out to Lateral Alliances to assist them in business development, sales, marketing, operations and strategic support.

Lateral Alliances undertook a review of the business including assessing profitability of services and customer acquisition and retention. To date Lateral Alliances have retained customer contracts in a number of regions including Africa, Asia and sold additional services to a number of new customers.  New business development including new CLI Spoofing detection technology prototype with a Tier 1 operator in the UK. 

Assisted in the expansion of Revector into IMSI Catcher technologies, including research, marketing analysis, acquisition of a strategic business.  Developed a business development pipeline and strategic partners and marketing strategy.

Colin Yates Fraud Consulting

Colin Yates Fraud Consulting (YFCL) is a small business providing intelligence to telecommunications providers.

YFCL offer their PRSM Premium Rate Numbers database to telecom service providers to mitigate fraud.
Colin Yates is a veteran in the telecoms fraud industry and has been heavily involved in the GSMA and other fraud forums around the world.  

Lateral Alliances approached YFCL to undertake a social media campaign and get YFCL profile on LinkedIn and raise its social media presence.  Lateral Alliances formulated a company page and a number of graphical adverts and initiatives to gain followers to the YFCL LinkedIn company page.  

in the space of three months, Lateral Alliances took YFCL from no presence on LinkedIn to 96 Followers and regular impressions of over 200 impressions per post.
